“In October 2011 Natsumi landed in Shenzhen, China, where,under the influence of her new experiences, she has been working for two years at the development of a project previously started in Italy. “The Source” is part of this project.

Natsumi is using different media and local materials that stimulate her creativity to realize her works using different layers and thicknesses so as to “hide” or “protect” somehow theintimacy of the situations represented. She is focusing on the different images her eyes are catching trough her camera, afterwards converted in art works, with a very personal and feminine view of what happens around her.”
